Boston College women’s lacrosse star Charlotte North was presented with the 2022 Tewaaraton Award on Thursday.

The Tewaaraton Award is presented to the top men’s and women’s collegiate lacrosse players in the country. Thursday marked the second time North won the award after she put up 115 points and 136 draw controls this past season for the Eagles, who reached the national championship game.

North is the first player since Taylor Cummings (Maryland) from 2014-16 to collect the honor in back-to-back seasons, and it’s the third time since 2018 that an Eagle was named the best player in lacrosse (Sam Apuzzo). She helped the Eagles earn a 19-4 mark and a fifth straight national championship appearance.
